Cara and Jeff added another 9 holes to the existing 9 holes, making this now a top tier championship 18 hole facility. I question this decision, since this course is only available during the winter months. If it were open year round, then I would applaud Jeff and Cara's effort in making this Toronto's premiere disc golf championship course.
But unfortunately, it will only be played when the conditions are at its harshest; cold, windy, and slippery. Not to mention, possibly snow covered as well. The new 9 holes are very long and demanding. A number of these have technical tee shots that make par almost unattainable. Also, they redesigned some of the original 9 holes to create more challenge. But, they have designed some great holes that are signature holes for me. Holes 10, 14, and 17. Overall, this is an unnecessarily very challenging course especially with winter conditions in play. To me, this is not fun anymore. So, I recreated an 18 hole layout that would be fun for me by changing the par on 6 holes, as well as, relocating a shorter tee on 6 holes. So, my rating is based on this layout. If this course was accessible in the summer, then I would have no problem playing the intended layout.
