This is a beautiful find! It is a great course tucked away on a well-kept property, and even though it is fairly wide open, there are several elevation changes that make for a fun and engaging round. The signage is good, each tee pad is concrete, and it is easy to navigate between holes. The only caution is that if it has been raining, the front nine in particular, can be a little soggy, and water does come in to play on a couple of holes. This is a great course and definitely worth your time, I will play it again next time I’m in the area for sure.

Played this open course on a windy day so it provided some tough putting situations. All holes should be par 3 but some 370 footers were listed as Par 5s. Didn't throw very well but still shot -10 course par. LOL! There is a decent amount of water but if you play it safe, you shouldn't lose a disc. I think a few trees planted on the final 6 or 7 holes would go a long way into making this a much better and more scenic course. This course has potential, especially if a couple of holes are added into the woods. I enjoyed it and will stop here from time to time when traveling home from throwing in Ft. Wayne. 80 out of 100.

A newer course (2019?) laid out on private/church-owned and operated grounds near Boner Lake outside Syracuse. Very well-maintained and free-to-play when open (see their Facebook page for hours).

Tees are concrete and baskets new and good quality. The layout and posted par is very generous. Holes are moderate distances with some elevation changes and water. UDisc offers alternate pars/play.

Basically a clean, well-maintained, private facility and excellent place to learn the game while still providing some challenges for recreational players.

Layout = C (basic and very open).
Conditions = A (constantly maintained/mowed, few trees).
Cost = A (free to play when available).
Overall = B+.

Private Course. You are allowed to play when the green flag is flying at the entrance. You can also check their facebook page, on availability of course. No cost to play. This is a Christian retreat center, no alcohol on campus,and no smoking(Including Wacky Tobacky!) Pack in your trash and pack it out! This is not necessarily a destination course, but if you happen to be in the area, it will be fun to bag and play. The first 12 holes are rather fun to play. and have some personality. The last 6 holes are rather mundane and bland. Lather, rinse, repeat!!! Very nice pads and baskets. Some water shots and elevation. Treat all holes as Par 3's, even though some are marked as Par 4 or 5. I would have really liked to see the designer take advantage of some of the woods on the property. I see some disc golf "gold" that is ready to be harvested. Very peaceful and serene setting. Nice touch that they had Christian music, playing in the background, from local music channel STAR 88.3. Just being on the property made me feel closer to God and par. Overall had a good time!!
