Course starts by following the path to the right side of the pavillion from the parking lot. Follow the paved path down the hill and by the lake and then when you arrive approximately at the top of the next hill you will see a small wooden stake in the ground with #1 tee written on it.
Teeboxes don’t exist yet as this is a super new course so they just have wooden stakes to mark throwing locations. Generally there are two markers placed in such a way that they somewhat align with the direction of the pin. Finding the pin that you are shooting for is mainly obvious, and some of the tee markers even have hints written on them.
As far as finding the next tee marker after completing a hole I just have to say good luck! Most of them were found quickly but a few took some walking/exploring.
Now as far as this course is technically:
A lot of very long holes that are mainly WIDE OPEN! Distance drives are crucial!
There is some elevation for sure.
There is only a couple holes with small gaps to hit, mainly wide open stuff.
Overall I love it! So glad to have a 18 hole course in Swansea. Definitely beats out Citizens park because it’s just as playable and way longer holes plus no redundant pins.
I will say I like the woods at Centennial park so Clinton hills is just going to be a good contrast to that for me.
