The "front course" at White Oak, is the most scenic and beautiful course in eastern NC in my opinion. The short layout is a very fun and challenging course with multiple shots required, and ranging from open elevated holes {1} to tight wooded monsters {12}, and playing along the scenic white oak river and around multiple fishing lakes. This is a great layout for rec/ ams to hone in on their shots while still being able to recover from an error. More advanced players should try the long layout for challenging over water, around OB and through the woods lines that will test even the most seasoned players. All shots are required at some point, and the scenery will never cease to amaze even those who play here every week. The two bald eagles on site also love watching the discs fly through their forest and might squawk a challenge once in a while. This is a must not miss course if you are in the area, and the locals will attest that the players here are among the most welcoming and laid back group you will ever find. Other amenities on site include camping {RV and tent} as well as fishing, kayak rentals, and mountain bike trails. Come check out this hidden jewel in the heart of eastern NC if you get the chance, just please make sure you place all trash in the containers placed around the course and keep this one of the most beautiful places around.

very technical and challenging layout requiring thought and placement of both midrange and drivers to have a reasonable birdie look. the scenery is extremely private and beautiful winding through an ancient hardwood forest following the beautiful white oak river, and playing around multiple fishing lakes. If you want a private secluded fun place to relax and work on your woods game, bring your straightest flying discs and some stress relief and have a great time.
