Easy access and a nice-looking college campus make this a convenient stop just minutes off NC-64. • The open and lightly wooded holes (#1–4, #10) are stronger than the wooded layouts, largely due to inconsistent maintenance in the woods. • Several wooded fairways are essentially walking trails, with thick rough immediately off the fairway that makes discs hard to find, even on short misses. • #12 is the highlight of the course, a short but excellent hole where a tight fairway and the threat of the pond behind the basket create real risk-reward despite the sub-200-foot length. • Other strong holes include #9 (good multi-step concept with a tricky approach), #13 (signature pond carry), and #16 (water again in play). • The course has solid bones and plays fine overall, but improved fairway maintenance and clearer signage would significantly raise its quality.
