Palmer is a simple little course just off the highway that goes through Mancelona. I’m not sure why people dislike it so much, because it really is a fun little course to shoot, as it provides some opportunity for lots of birdies, and even has a few spots that are fairly technical as you navigate through trees. If you use the par ratings that are listed at each hole, you will feel really good about your score! LOL! My 27 was six under the stated par. Clearly the par fours and par fives are fairly short, so it is a feel-good course if that matters to you :-) If you are driving through town, pull off the road and play this short little course, I am confident you will be glad you did.
