Libertyland is conveniently located next to the cooper young district, about 10 minutes from downtown. This is prolly one of the most played courses in the area, but that doesn't however make it the best. I'm a big fan and play at least 2-3 times per month. It's a par 54 with a nice mixture of long and short, open and semi wooded, and challenging flight lines. Don't expect to throw hyzers all day. I usually throw some rollers for the longer shots, and quite a few forehand shots. Plenty of ace opportunities too. Tee pads are still rubber but have gotten much smoother due to the hard work of local club members. I rather like not having to throw off concrete. Baskets are Mach 3's, (which would be pretty comparable to the prodigy baskets in chain weight and tension.) No water hazard, but there is a building on hole 15 where folks have lost discs on the roof. It's pretty tall but obviously still possible to get a disc up there. Plan to have fun and enjoy this course. Make sure you download the DiscU app beforehand so that you can access the course map. There's no Tee Signs.

This is a temporary course on an old amusement park property. There are a variety of long and longer holes (only 2 holes under 300 feet) on a mostly flat and treeless piece of land. . However, the course strategically uses the few trees that are there to challenge your accuracy.

Tee pads are rubber mats over uneven ground, so it is somewhat challenging on the run-up. There are no tee signs yet, so it is best to play with someone who has played there before, or you can take a course map. There are alternate baskets on 9 of the 18 holes.

O.B. is everywhere since many of the baskets are near roads and parking lots that are out of bounds. There is NO water to speak of and no bushes,so you shouldn't lose any discs. The course is also usually windy since it is so wide open.

CONS: The property is also used for parking by nearby Liberty Bowl Football Stadium, so some of the baskets may be missing on Friday-Saturday. Check the University of Memphis home football schedule before heading out there in the fall.
