Solid course, but can be a little slow depending on the amount of foot traffic you have to work around with pedestrians. Having brooms on the tee pads is a nice little touch for keeping everything nice. Could use maybe a new layout or a full 18 given the sport is picking up to facilitate potential wait times, and also given it's the same cost as other courses in the area that provide more shot shapes/holes with it being a $10 vehicle fee during late May to early September.

For a State Park this large , there's no reason it shouldn't be a legit 18 hole or more course. The tees were immaculate but the entire rest of the course was a sheer sheet of ICE . I would play there again perhaps but not in the winter and well I'm not into paying to park to use the course when the Park officially opens

My first and go to course. I learned here, and think it is fabulous place to learn, aside from no elevated holes. The nine baskets with two tee's per basket is well laid out. Obviously it is a state park, so you can't avoid pedestrian's -you just have to be patient when park is busy, or come during off hours.
