Alot of work has gone into this course the past couple years and it's a fun challenge to play. Par is a good round here for sure. Use spotters, lots of opportunities for lost discs here. This course requires a lot of thought about what and how you should throw, course management is key for a good round.

The first half of this course is very tight, if you don't hit the fairway you are almost certain to be taking a stroke, the trees here are tight and a line out is often hard to find. There is alot of risk vs reward shots aswell, especially when you are trying to scramble back from a bad hole. The back half is more open and forgiving, you have good opportunity to recover some strokes.

Overall the course is awesome, par is a good round. Biggest challenge is lack of flat level tee off as the awkward footing can mess with your throw and easily put you off your line which is really bad on the front.
Alot of love and hard work have gone into building and maintaining this course and it gets better every year, regardless of how well you play the course will be an experience you will enjoy

Aspen Meadows West has a nice mix of tight technical wooded holes and wide open windy holes. The front 9 is short and technical but there are a lot of birdie holes whereas the back 9 is long and open and is a lot more about shot placement. The signature hole is #12, a 1200 foot par 5 with a mando tree off the tee. If you place your shots well, a 4 is doable but a 6 isn't too far away either.
