It's better! A fun little course to screw around with and bring new players to. It's in a nice park. Into the woods/out of the woods throws are fun.
Redesigned in '23.
Teepads are now cement. The woods are a maze with a trail running around the course. Signs have been updated are aren't amazing but good.
The park is 5 minutes west of 23 at Owen Rd so it's easy to get to.

I loved the layout. Cool how either the baskets or the tee pads are just inside or just outside the woods on most holes. Starting off or ending up in an open area with just a few small tree obstacles really complements the deeps woods portion of the holes. On other courses, being only in the deep woods the whole time (with no relief) can get old. Nice that there's a lake and beach adjacent to the holes, so you can cool off. I would've given it an A+ if the carpet tee pads were concrete and it had better signage. Can't complain! I'll be back for sure!

Once you are in the woods the clearings are terrible, the woodchips r rotting and paths are covered over with plants and leaves where there is none to begin with.. Poison ivy is all over so pray you never end up off the paths.

Finally they make you pay 5 bucks a car just to go in and play a round of a 9 hole course. No animals allowed either. Asking a bit much for so little in return. Needless to say i wont return or tell friends to visit.

Some cool holes definitely needs tee signs i come across 2 players that didn't know the course and being my first time out playing by myself i couldn't tell them anything being a smart disc golfer i was able to figure the layout of the course. Some clearing and leaf removal would be extremely helpful. A piece of old farm equipment on i believe hole 3 could be taken out of there also (nobody likes to mess there discs up on metal or concrete) true tee markers and hole signs would help tremendously. Some unique shots really tight hard hyzers and turn overs in many tunnels. A fence line on hole 1 (possibly ob) forces you to keep it right and low on an uphill shot. A wind definitely can be a factor on a lot of holes where you shoot from the woods to the open or from open to woods. Played here in some pretty extreme wind and started pouring as soon as i got to 9 playing the short pads really quick so didnt get a chance to play the other tees.

It's a little unfair to review a course this new, but it needs reviews so here's mine.

It's 9 holes with reds & blue tees. Currently, the teepads are carpet strips behind marking flags. The baskets are beautiful, brand-new Discraft Chainstars. I only played the reds, but the guys I was with had just finished playing the blues and I heard them agree that the holes were quite different during their second round.

The course doesn't have signage up so finding the first tee was difficult (against a fence behind a centrally-located pavillion. Currently, each basket has a small black arrow attached to the pin indicating the general direction of the next teebox.

There's a lot of poison ivy in the small forest that occupies the majority of the holes. Now that the course is in and playable, I imagine the creators will work on improving the pathways and fairways.

#5 is kind of the signature hole, with an elevated basket embedded in a large stump. I'm guessing around 6 or 7 feet to the bottom of the chains.

Congratulations to the guys responsible for getting this in. If they can get a back 9 installed and take advantage of the eponymous Silver Lake, this course could definitely draw crowds from Kensington & Holly Woods as it's pretty much equal distances from them both/
