Amazing hidden gem in Florence, WI. 18 holes in the winter and now 22 in the summer! Great mixture of technical wooded shots as well as a few long bombers. Beautiful scenery surrounds this challenging course. Short and long tees on every hole means something for all skill levels. The local crew keeps things beautiful and is constantly improving the course. A must visit if you are in the area.

Honestly it’s Heaven. The course has tons of beautiful views and wildlife and it is fun and as well challenging and it’s cared for by the people that make Keyes Peak what it is. And that is a diamond in the rough in northern Wisconsin.

If I ever want to travel and just get away for the weekend this is the first place I think of.

Keep up the good work to everyone involved with this ever evolving gem.

I am part of the KPDGC crew so I'll try to just explain the course as is. Keyes Peak is now a 22 hole course in the summer and 18 Holes during the ski season. A 2$ donation is suggested. The course has mixed style tee pads that are ever evolving. Hole 1 starts next to the kiosk which is kept up to date with local events. Holes 2-6 play through moderately wooded uphill holes bringing you to the epic scenery of hole 7 which plays down the hill overlooking the ski lodge and Keyes lake. Hole 8's blue tee (left+uphill of 7's basket) is another even longer downhill throw. Holes 9-13 are moderately wooded and have you back to flat ground and the parking lot, This gives you the option to play 9 or 12 holes and still be right at the parking lot. Hole 14 plays uphill along a beautiful creek to the right. Hole 15 is a tightly wooded little hogback with the basket planted in a giant stump. The "winter loop" holes 19-22 play in between Holes 16 and 17 have you at the top of the hill on flat ground playing moderately wooded classic disc golf holes with the exception of 17's basket being in a unique bunker sunk in the ground. Hole 18 plays downhill to a hanging basket on a slope to the creek making putting an awesome challenge. Enjoy!!

Update: Keyes is now an 18 hole course. The new holes play up the backside of the hill and are quite scenic, especially the holes where the creek winds through. Some elevated baskets, a submerged basket, different shot selection, long uphill, short technical, you name it. There are lots of little 'touches' in the design and maintenance of the course that make it unique and it's really beginning to feel like a destination course to me. Hats off to everyone involved with the design and maintenance of this gem. I may be biased, but this course deserves an A and I'm proud to call it my home course.

Well maintained and a decent amount of variety in shot selection for a 9-hole course. If this turns into an 18 hole course, it could move into the A range for me.

Scenic 9-hole course. Good variation of difficulty among holes. Brand new course has lots of potential. Big thanks to Fred Irwin, who had the idea behind the course and was instrumental in bringing the project together. It's a great addition to the recreational opportunities offered in the area. Will be an excellent course when the back 9 are put in next year.

As of November, at least half of the course will be taken down to make way for the ski hill.

Very short pitch and putt course with fun elevation( the extreme elevation on the dh bomb make it a easy putter hole) . Would make for a good disc golf introduction to the campers. Has little replay value for skilled players. The basket are nicely constructed knockoffs of innova baskets but they catch about as Good as my 2 year old daughter. Baskets have been modified since original review
