A lot of elevational holes here, especially on the front 9. A lot of open field holes in the beginning too, a long thrower's paradise. But, the back 9 is in the sticks, needing a lot more finesse dodging the trees. Quite a few tight fairways on that back 9. Overall, one of the best courses I've played at though. Only negative.....there were about 3-4 holes where we had no idea where to go and had to guess on which way the next Tee box was. Reason for the "-" on the A. lol

This review is based on my play through Sept 2014. This course had a still new feel as in much of the 2-3" stubble from brush clearing was still there and dense thickets in key OB areas made for interesting search and rescues. As for the front 9 .... you better be fit! Steep uphills and downhills with many blind shots. TOUGH course. I didn't have a chance to do back 9 yet which did not appear to be as steep and the front 9. Nice thing about this course is you can park and do either just front 9 if you've got the mojo or just the back 9 if you're feeling less athletic. Good water hazard on back 9 as it crosses a small bay on edge of large pond. When they manicure this course as this year moves on, it will be a contender for top course for challenging even the most experienced player.
