This is a very flat course with lots of wind potential and some of the longest(flat-ground) holes in the state. There is a bit of overlap on fairways but the length of the fairways does spread play out a bit. There is some water and baseball diamond OB that comes into play and some trees that will also come into play on a few holes. This is definitely a course where you can let your arm out for some distance practice. The earlier you can play the better so as to avoid soccer and other local activities taking place at the park. I'd say it's worth the short-ish trip from Salt Lake to play a couple times a month.
Hole pars probably need to be adjusted as the current par for the course is 72 but as an intermediate player on my first round there I shot a 62. Sub 55 would be a great score.

Overall great course for working on your long game (Four par 5s). Long, mostly flat holes with immature trees and a small creek running along one side of the perimeter of the course. Good layout with a few technical shots. Course will be very challenging once the trees mature. My only complaint is the cement tees. A few of them, particularly hole 4's tee, are too small. Most of them are painted on the sidewalks and aren't too bad, though. Also, fair warning!!!! TAKE BUG SPRAY. The mosquitoes at this park are no joke, and Tooele County Health Department have recently found West Nile Virus in this exact area! Update: Signage finally added in March of '15. However, some of the sign placement is off and may interfere with some people's tee shots! Ie: they put the hole signs at the front of the tees, rather than behind them. Still not too bad, though.
