This review is about the current state of this course, and it seems like it is still very much in development. Right now, most of holes 1-8 are just in open fields, with basically no obstacles (other than prairie-dog holes). Starting at hole 9 the course winds back and forth over the ravines that cut their way through the park. The only issue is that, right now, there are not good crossings for these ravines (ex: a chunk taken out of the wall of the ravine with some stones at the bottom to hop across the creek). Most of holes 11-18 were just mud. To be fair, this probably because I went in May, and they might be fine in the middle of the summer. Most of the tee boxes are gravel a the moment. Also make sure that you get the course map from the Longs Peak Disc Golf Club website, since otherwise it is usually hard to find the next hole.

However, I think if this course has a lot of potential if developed further. Hole 5 was a lot of fun; the tee box is on a hill (maybe 100ft up) and you get to attempt a 750ft drive! Hole 9 and 10 both use horse-shoe bends in the ravines as obstacles, making them pretty challenging. With more development this course could be one of the best around. As is, it is good for practicing long, straight shots.
