Perfect course to improve your game. I didn't like it at first but noticed those that played it a lot would go to other courses and contend for the win. Made me re-evaluate my thoughts. So, the main thing this course will do is force you to throw shots you don't find on many courses (I've played 150+) unless you're in trouble. A few shots require serious fading or skip flair to the right, a couple the same but to the left, a few are pretty straight forward, a few are bombers, a few require shots I haven't figured out, and then there's hole 15. If you have a rhfh cut roller that lands 30 or so feet in front of you and then rolls straight about 150 feet, you might birdie. Otherwise it feels like you're scrambling when you tee off. Par is a pretty fair 57, but could be as low as 55 if you think open holes under 600 feet should be par 3. Like I said, this course will improve your game while frustrating you at the same time. Par is a pretty good score on this course and going bogey free would bring satisfaction to most players. So, my A+ is based on the multiple type of shots it takes to navigate the course, not necessarily how happy I am after I finish a round.

If you par the course, you will have earned it. This is a challenging course with little margin for error in the wooded portion. The rough is very punishing with thick, gnarled vines, plentiful thorns, and bushy cedar trees. Overgrowth prohibits an air shot option on many fairways. A couple of "Pachinko" alleys and two near-600' holes add to the challenge. Course is mostly flat with one downhill run on hole 17. All other elevation changes are very gentle. A wide variety of shots are required to complete the course. Hole one and ten tees are both near the parking lot making it easy to start on either the front or back nine. New course with very nice tee signs and "Next Tee" signs. Tee pads are of grippy textured concrete and are generously long. Wind is a factor on the wide-open portions of the course. This is quite a challenging course that takes a while to "grow into".
