Not a beginner course. Prepare for a hike. Best in spring or fall. Overall very challenging specially if the wind kicks up. Several very long holes. Take spotters if you can. Lots of slope. Discs can get away from you if you hit the wrong lines. Blue course is the easier walk but still challenging. I think 12 pads in now and all the fairway distance markers, which are nice because almost every hole will present a blind shot at some point.

Hole 2 is unplayable (unless you want to hunt for your disc in a big patch of thorn bushes. Good mix of long and short holes throughout the course. Holes 2-7 are brutally tough, and the terrain is up, down, or side hill hiking. Bring some water for sure.

Good variety of hole lengths and some nice use of the park's elevation features. This is not an easy course to score low on. It has 2 long par 3's (2 and 7) that could easily be par 4's for rec players and beginners. Holes 2, 7-9 were especially good. It would have been hard to navigate without a map. Thanks again to Boise Disc Golf for sending me a map on Facebook. (You can contact Boise Disc Golf on Facebook for a map.) You have to tee on the grass on some holes, but several allow you to tee off the pavement. This is going to be a nice addition for the Boise area for winter play. I recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.
