Been getting some requests lately, and I really think people need to think first. Consider what you bring to the sport, mainly the enjoyment of the sport, before asking for an invite and assuming a welcoming response. This isnt a "pay to play" course, its a private getaway.
What do you bring to the sport?...
1) I always help, volunteer for work days, teach clinics, donate effort, time, products, and money, and encourage newcomers to foremost enjoy and respect the courses.
2) I mostly play disc golf, occasionally put in a little more like removing garbage from courses.
3) I only want to play disc golf, I dont help do anything more.
4) I litter, cheat, and cause all kinds of social media drama - true chucker mentality who feels entitlement that these rounds are "mine, on my course, so give me mine".
This is my HOUSE! Why would I invite anyone out to play in my sanctuary and bring drama?? IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN! Yep, guess I'm a jerk. I can accept mistakes, have made plenty of my own, but moral character flaws and drama aren't something I'm going to INVITE into my life. Sorry.
