This rating is as how I see the course when done. This course is short but awesome. Never have I seen so much time, money, effort, etc. put into a course to make it nice. And the fun factor is off the charts! I know that it is to short for the throw farther than you can see crowd but hear me out. The teeboxes are much larger than most and built to perfection. The baskets are (I think dga) of the 24 chain sort, very nice with loud chings. All the fairways ( 1 and 2 aren't yet but will be) are filled with superior wood chips. And best of all, they put in an AWESOME! path through the hole course with (I think) stone crete and it is level, hard packed, lined with a foot of wood chips on each side, and a joy to walk and push my cart. Most of the way, they put driveways of the path to,level with the teeboxes, and to the wood chips to the baskets. This path runs parallel to the fairways and only two fairways did I need to push my cart. You can go the other 16 and stay on the totally smooth path. to tee off, and putt. AWESOME! The signs aren't in yet but there are posts for them in all over, so signage is gonna be great. The continuity, especially with the path and wood chips, from hole to hole is superb. Now for the short distances. They must have moved some since others have played. Yes, there are to many 100 ft. holes, and a putter is all you need BUT. Hole 4 is about 280, very narrow, and I bogeyed it 2 of 4 time. 5 is about 220 and narrow, 10 is about 180 and a slight S shot for rhfh that is almost impossible for a rhbh like me to ace, and 15 is about 240 and narrow and I bogeyed it 2 of 4 times. Now I don't have a big arm and about 9 of the holes are a putter for even me, but 3 holes I used a driver and several with big anhyzers and big hyzers I used a mid range. So there's not much distances but there is a little at times. They did very well in the small area that they have to work with. The cons, other than distance. People are gonna get hit with it so compact. 4's basket and 5's teebox are only about 25' apart etc. They set the baskets very low to help deter theft, you will feel like you are putting down when close.A farmer owns a small edge of the woods along 3,4,5,6,7 and obviously doesn't want discers on his property with no trespassing and you will be prosecuted signs. I had a legit birdie putt from his property because it is so close to those fairways and baskets. Above all else this course is fun fun fun. Followed closely by being very very very nice. In 4 rounds I got metal 4 times, chained out once, and got an ace. If that isn't fun I don't know what is. There is almost no undergrowth so no lost discs, and you can't find any easier and shorter walking. This course will improve your game. The course begins and ends at the far northeast ballfield side of the park. First tee is behind the left-center field fence of the northeast ballfield and 18 comes out on the other side of the ballfield.
