Out of the need to show courtesy and to pay respect to its older brother (the Casper main course), I’m giving Bullsnake a B+ in order to preserve the integrity of the true A rating that it’s senior deserves. Overall, this, too, is an excellent arrangement of holes that are challenging; beautifully located; and that boast of originality. Love hitting Bullsnake Alley when the wind makes playing the main course unfeasible, or on days that I’m short on the time needed to play main.

To start off, just getting to this course for the first time is pretty cool. There's almost always activity either at the softball fields, soccer fields, and there's people walking, biking, and my favorite, disc golf.
As you walk across the nice bridge and get a sight at the North Platte traveling through casper, you see a very nice paved walking path, a fair amount of trees for Wyoming and a nice big hill in the background. Stick to the right on the paved path when you get off the bridge and it will take you right to the first tee. No guessing, there's a bright orange sign and a clear dirt tee pad, your there baby! Turn around for some practice putting on hole zero or kick it right off with a nice first hole. Narrow off the drive and a straight shot will get you a bird! Then what? Well, in the bottom of the basket there's indicators that point you toward the next tee pad! Then 2 more great, precision holes. Hole #4 is wide open for the big throwers! Nice hyzer line right to the basket, if you can throw that far accurately! Then it narrows back down for #6, will it ever end!?!? #6 provides a great opportunity for a accurate forehand throw. There's a clear line to the basket but it's a low ceiling and either a forehand throw or a very slight anhyzer backhand. This hole is tough to birdie! Then go up the hill to the left and back track to a very nice hole 7, where birdies are scarce as well. The rest of the course opens up but 2 are blind, there's a tree in the way for one and a low ceiling for hole 11 so they stay challenging. Hole 12 is up hill and plays long but hole 13, favorite is back down hill. A couple of standard hyzer routes, another narrow hole which takes you to hole 17. Hole 17 is right next to the river but backhanders beware, this. River eats discs! A morrow tee shot makes it challenging, then the river right where a standard hyzer shot would land. I love this hole because my natural throw gives me an anhyzer shot away from the river. Hole 18 is a nice short almost blind tee which is a great "tie-breaker" hole. It also brings you right back to the bridge!
I hope you enjoy this course as much as I do! It keeps me coming back and challenges me every single time.

I don't know what the other people are complaining about, this is one of the best courses I've ever played. I have played courses all over the country, name a state and I've played a course there. Ive played great courses and Ive played courses where ive walkeed away and gone home. Having not been a total fan of the other course to begin with my expectation was that this course was going to be about the same.. Boy was I wrong.

I went to this course by myself which I never do because of bad experiences navigating courses in the past. I wusuall like to have someone who has played it before go with me to give me the lay of the land. Wasn't able to happen.Found the tee for the first hole and saw that there was a box for maps, looked in to grab one... it was empty. Not off to a good start. But the tee box was clearly marked with a highly visable sign so I knew what to look for. Saw where the first pin was, and threw. No problems, and was continually surprised with each hole. Paths to next tee boxes were clearly marked and cleared of debris, the little sign in the bottom of the basket was awesome to get you going in the right direction.Follow existing trails and those marked with flags, and you will have no problems getting around and having a great time playing.

One of the best rounds ive had in a while and definetly the best round Ive ever had on a new course. This course is the reason I play. Had no problems navigating, no wondering where the holes were, nice mix of far and close shots. About the only thing that I could say would be an improvement would be distances on the signs, and Tee pads. Which I know T pads will be tough given the terrain, but really thats all. Find a way to fisx those two things and this will be an A+ course. After a while I was trying to find something wrong, and couldn't find it.

It actually may be tough to decide which of our two awesome courses I will want to play more. Nice Job Condor.


#1 So well, shit, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm not really a fan. Dispite my best efforts to enjoy it and I just couldn't. Seems completely un-realistic, especially for Rec type players which is what our town consists mostly of. Need to appeal more to the general population.

I'm a newb to disc golf and don't have much to compare this course too, BUT.... This course should come with a disclaimer!!! I realize it is unfinished, rough, etc... BUT I'd advise wearing sna ... show more ›

This course should come with a disclaimer!!! I realize it is unfinished, rough, etc... BUT I'd advise wearing snake proof boots & long pants. Additionally, bear spray, a compass, and a side arm!!!
REMs & extra water too!
I almost got eaten by a badger on 14 & 16?? LOST IN THE WILDERNESS!

...with that said... I'm really happy to see Casper adding an additional course & look forward to playing this course again. I will be more prepared next time!

This course has just been put in... No signage or permanent tee boxes yet. The front nine are a technical bunch while the back nine opens up for the long throwers. There are a couple baskets located by a lot of cacti, just like CDGC, you can avoid most slivers by staying to the right. The use of elevation outweighs the unfriendly cactus by far. This is a FUN course! Between this course and Casper Disc Golf Course, there are 36 baskets of ever changing shots.
