One of the shortlist GREAT 'Ski Mountain' Courses in all of the Rockies. Strongly preferred to many at more famous mountains to the north. Please read the details posted by Red River. But add that even the easier 'Front 9' is a good test of your game and athleticism. If you bring LOTS of water, very strong shoes, and a couple 'Beater Discs' for long downhill shots, you will have a blast. Strongly suggest getting up there early if there is any chance of lightening, which is common in the afternoon. Playing with 'A Local' is good but not necessary. Note: The chairlift is a full half hour each way and hurrying through this course is unthinkable. So 'Big Red' is a full day's adventure from the Abq area, but highly recommended. The Chair is only open during Summer and a very few late spring/early fall weekend days.
