Biased opinion because it's my home course and I've played it over 1000 times

I love this course because its challenging but rewarding; it has highly wooded fairways which make tee shot lines narrow and technical, elevation changes and some extreme angles to the basket. Obviously, playing this course blind is tough but through playing it more and more you can master the art of throwing precise lines in narrow gaps. Pars are very fair IMO; experienced player should be going par or better. Typically the course is groomed pretty well in the warm months, but bugs and overgrown brush can be annoying, especially if you shank your drive. Paver tee pads in progress

This is a good course, some long holes and elevation change while many holes are very reachable for birdies. However I find it to be very local friendly with unique gaps that take practice to hit right, and a little bit too much reliance on luck versus actual accuracy. Also don’t try to play this course in the late fall or early spring because the course holds water REALLY badly and requires you to walk through obstacle courses of stumps and rocks to avoid mud pits.
Like I said good course, but has it’s downfalls which can be very frustrating and even unbearable at times.

The problem here is there are some regulars that play in large groups of 6 or more, are very slow, and do not let others play through. This results in huge backups and long waits. Multiple times I've had to walk off after 13 holes, as I have seen others do as well.
The course could be a B, but having to sit and wait for each hole becomes intollerable.

Challenges the definition of "fairway" in a few places, but the course has come a long way in the last few years. Many holes have a steep learning curve. For your first trip here, leave your drivers in the car and play "position" golf with midranges. It's a technical course that rewards precision over power.

This is my home course and overall i think it is fantastic, but challenging due to the density of the forest. Good length holes with varried dog legs and elevation changes. Most of the tee boxes are manmade rubber. Course can get super frustrating after hitting tree after tree. Great for sharpshooters

I have mixed feelings about Dacey. I love it as a less crowded alternative to Borderland, and it's certainly challenging. My issue is that it warrants the par 4 on many holes simply by creating tiny lanes with a multitude of trees. Be prepared to hit trees. The hole design is flat out ridiculous on some holes. Also, there are many small hidden tree stumps I have tripped over. Be aware when walking.

Needs a lot of work. A challenge is always fun, but so is a playable course. Front nine were not very fun. Back nine were actually pretty decent. This course has huge potential. I like the good hike from this course. Signage needs to be revamped. I like the new tee pads going in. They were awesome. So of the best I've come across. Keep up the good work out here and you'll have yourselves a top course.

I spent the time to get the pictures of this course and load them because they weren't available. I stopped to play this course on the way home, so I am not local to this course. I don't want to be too brutal here but this course is still in the works. This course has potential to be a really fun course. There are areas of the course that are very rocky so footing can be an issue. The front nine are not as enjoyable as the back 9. The front nine contains a lot of trees and would require some strategic cutting, if that doesn't occur it would ruin the playing experience. The back nine are long and contain some reasonable elevation changes. So if there are people where footing is and issue or some other handicap, this is not a course you will enjoy.

There is work that still needs to be done at this course and I don't live close enough to help but the locals should band together to complete the extensive work that is required and this course could easily be a B level course. I gave it a D because there are too many chances of losing discs or spending a lot of time searching for discs and that is some of the work that is needed to make this course better. There are areas where the under brush can be cleaned up and open grass fields groomed as well. The potential of the course is great and what has been done to date appears its only a few people trying to improve it and could benefit from help.
