The fairways are nicely mowed and surrounded by tall grass (up to waist-high). The course has very little elevation and trees. Many holes are long, straight shots.

If you can't throw straight consistently, you will find yourself looking for your frisbees in the tall grass all the time.

I have about 100 hrs of frisbeegolf experience but had to quit this course after 5 holes because i was in the tall grass after every drive.

Davenport offers better courses than this one.

Wayyy too long. why anyone would go here with all of the nice courses we have here in the Quad Cities is beyond me...maybe if you live nearby and transportation option #1 is a bicycle??? Or if you throw it 500 feet you might like going here to show off your big arm but that still doesn't make it a course.

Built on an old 9 hole golf course on an island on the Mississippi River. It has a good balance of short and long pin positions. The relative openess is friendly to beginners, while careful distance cosideration creates challenges for a variety of skill levels. The open holes can be deceptive due to the subtle elevation rolls of the terrain. Fun par 4's and 5's. A driving range and putting area are part of future plans.

The City of Davenport does a great job of mowing only the fairways creating beautifully shaped holes. Late spring the fairways are green grass and the rough is low golden flowers...like the Wizard of Oz - it's amazing. Tree pruning and the planting of new trees and shrubs will improve course playability in the future.

Also amazing views of river and downtown Davenport from this island course on the Mississippi River!
