Hard to find anything bad about Disc Golfing in Paradise. This course weaves through the Hilo Coffee Farm near Hilo (The Big Island). Caution: If your a pasty Haole like me, bring sunscreen and lots of water, it's humid, hot, and will smack you if your not a local. Restaurant has great smoothies, good food, a few Innova discs, and really weak blended coffee drinks (Order extra shots if your used to the NW coffee). They require signing in, giving up your drivers license, then signing back out when done. Not the best course you'll ever play, or the most challenging, but what an amazing setting, so who cares! Crazy looking trees, plants, grasses, and other vegetation you'll never see on the mainland.
#1 Tee off Concrete down hill (Putter or mid), basket tucked in between trees.
#2 Tee off Grass, shoot over creek, up hill, long hole (Full Drive), large tree obstructions off tee making hyzer tough, finish in open field. (Sketchy stairs through creek)
#3 Tee off Concrete over creek, about 300', into tall grass area
#4 Tee off Concrete by banana tree, over field, 400'+, lots of room, coffee plants behind pin. (Tee pad very off center)
#5 Tee off Grass, very short 250' ish, open shot, very little obstructions
#6 Tee off Carpet matt, around 380-400, shoot out over small bushes, out into field, basket tucked down hill in hole out of sight.
#7 Tee off Grass, through tight coffee plants fairway, hook left about 270', Rusty old homemade basket on left about 30-40' off fairway. (Careful avoiding long grass and fence just past basket)
#8 Tee off Carpet, out over field, full drive 380-400', basket tucked down hill on left before coffee plants. Huge thick bamboo group and lots of coffee plants.
#9 Tee off Carpet? (Forgot), about 260' on right side, throwing over coffee plants to a tight landing zone about 30-40' wide.
#10 Tee off nice Concrete, Long drive over 400', very beautiful hole lets you look around the whole farm, throwing across big gully, creek, and lots of vegetation, and back up hill, basket tucked in between palm trees. By far the best hole on the course. Image of this hole is on #9 slot.
