This is a Beginner/Rec course for certain. With 4 holes that are Par 2, it kinda has to be. BUT, at the same time, if you are an advanced player, you Must be on with your upshots to hit par on this course! The Constantly Swirling Wind on Every Hole added to the challenge of the otherwise Wide Open Course of Ace Runs for even an Intermediate player.
I got on with my Father-in-Law who is Military, so no Problems there. He is Newer to Disc Golf and it was Great watching him get excited as he made some Pars on this short course. I have been playing for 1 year in 2 days, and Every Hole was an Ace Run opportunity, which I must admit, added to the FUN Factor of this course for me.
We played 18 holes, using the 1st 9 to see the layout and take pictures. I gotta say, as much as we will be going on base, this course will become a Regular course for me and my Upshots will Benefit from it.
Oh, and the Baskets are ALL Brand New looking DGA Baskets! The grounds are Extremely well groomed. Grass is cut SHORT, so expect some skips and flares....
Very Cool, that the USAF gives their people a place to play. Most players may find it Boring, but I think it's a change of pace from other area courses, and that makes it FUN!
