I like this li'l course! Signs at every tee is great, distances are accurate too. The course bounces around a small, and very old, church and companion cemetery, and most of the holes have some sort of OB, and all drives had cool challenges or obstacles in the way. Definitely worth the short trip out of St. Helens for a quick warm up 9. Some baskets are used for multiple tee pads, but I highly doubt this place will ever be busy enough for that to be a concern. All in all, a cool course!

Thanks for putting in this course. I enjoy playing it when I'm in town. It's a fun little course. However, with that said this isn't a course worthy of anything higher than an average rating. The baskets are flimsy, the tee pads barely adequate, several holes play back over other fairways and much of the course can't be played if there are any cars in the parking lot or people around. Some of the shots are fun to make, playing around a building for instance, but it isn't really a golf shot. Also, I personally have a problem playing through or along a graveyard. Shouldn't a grave be OB in almost EVERY instance?

Thanks again for putting in the course, and I'll be back to play it if I'm in the neighborhood, but I have to be honest with the course review.

Pros:
This course was pretty challenging w/ the O.B.'s. and or technical basket locations.
The course flowed very well w/ the amount of space they were allowed to use.
Course offered both technical and open field fairways, offering the ability to throw backhand and forearm shots.
Wonderful concrete tee boxes.
Nice self explanatory/easy to follow tee box signs.
Course was well groomed and very clean.
Private Disc golfer parking section.
Detailed course map.

Cons:
No public bathrooms.
lack of available trashcans.
Shared tee boxes and or shared baskets can cause a jam if course is croweded.
Church parking lots come into play on holes #1,#3 & #9.

Other thoughts:
Yankton community fellowship is a great addition to the community wich not only offers discgolf but non discgolfing acctivities I.E. kid playgrounds etc. YCF is also close and on the way to Trojan DGC. (soon to follow another course across the water in ridgefield washington will bring in a tri-factor of near by courses to play). The addition of bathrooms and avail trash cans would increase my personal rating to an "A".

All in all this was a pleasure for me to finally get a chance to play the 1st course in orgegon that has installed my baskets (Hylton Baskets) and i want to say big props to Sean C. and the others that dedicated their hard work and effort to bring a small town into disc golf. i would play this course anyday if i didnt live 2hrs away so i must say... WELL DONE!!!!

Overall great little course. Glad the chuch agreed to put it in.

Y.C.F. is a fun course that can be played in a half hour or less. The course is small but can also be challenging. There is a lot of O.B. and the great pin placements make this little 9 hole tough. All tee's are concrete and have tee signs. Baskets have 24 chains and are made by Hylton Baskets. All holes are close together therefore you can not get lost easly. Y.C.F. has a great variety of left, right, and straight holes. Also #7 is a tricky down hill hole and #8 comes back up, giving this course an all around variety. The only problem that I have with this course is that cars may be parked in the way. Holes #1,#3, and #9 are all throwing over parking areas. Best time to play this course is when very few cars are there. Y.C.F. is out in the country and has no public bathrooms, However, there is a store a mile down the road that has bathrooms and snack/drink stuff. Y.C.F. is worth the drive out there.
