Each hole has a nice brick tee pad, most are intuitive to find from hole to hole. Each hole has a sign, although they are not great. For instance hole #2 is a dog leg left, the sign makes one think it is a straight shot to the hole. Then you start to notice all holes are visually represented as straight shots on the signage!

I think of myself as a better than average distance thrower, and this course really takes it out of my arm. I have a hard time calling some of these holes par 3's (all 18 are par-3 I believe), hole 17 in particular. Any hole where I have to go driver - driver is a long hole...probably not a par 3 just based on distance. I mention this because when I play with my wife on this course there is a chance she could throw 10+ shots before she is putting. Not kidding, it's a forever long way away if you don't have a big arm. It might be a soft 5, but it's easily a par 4.

I like the elevated green on 13, at least it is something different. This course can be BRUTAL on a windy day. I'd rather play in blazing mid day sun (almost no shade) than the wind coming off the foothills. I like the variety of up-hill holes, down-hill holes, and flats. It's almost never crowded, and has good overall flow.

Definitely favors strength. The course is a bit mundane as many holes are similar. I think the course will be much better and more fun when the trees will mature. Unfortunately, this won't be the case for many years... Also, it should be mentioned that the course is muddy whenever it rains and stays muddy for the better part of Spring (especially this years as we have had a lot of rain).

This course is much improved from what I saw and heard on line. Even my buddy who came with me said that it was way better than when he had played there last. Enjoyed the holes and it was difficult but not unplayable. The walk around the course isn't that bad. There are some great tees and all holes are very nice. Looking forward to the trees growing and maybe a shelter near hole 1. If you are tired of the lines at Edora this is where i'd go next.

Long holes, lack of shade can cause attrition, and signage does not, in my opinion, accurately reflect the tree placements for most holes. I don't know what's up with the ziggurat basket on number elevenish... Weird stuff. Once the trees get large enough to be obstacles and provide shelter it will not be so grueling. Unmowed field grass out there makes you appreciate some other courses around town.

Signage is great. There is a course map at the beginning and each hole has a sign with distance and possible pin placement (2 options per hole; however the pin is only in one at a time). All tee pads are complete and in great shape.

Plays around a large rectangular bowl and makes good use of space. Recent redesign for the tournament added a few mando poles and OOB markers.

In general, shots are wide open and big arms will enjoy the pin distances. Trees are planted but almost all are very young.

Bruce is right; a decade from now this course will easily be a B+ or better
