The rough is really rough. 4-5' tall brush on either side of the fairways swallow your less than perfect drives. You almost have to send a spotter down the fairway to watch for where your drives land or you will be searching for discs for a long time. I live so close to this one that I really want to like it, but I probably won't be back until the winter when I hear that the rough is mowed down.

Also, we searched and could not find a tee for hole 4 and the basket for 3 was nowhere near where anything said it was. I'm assuming that the Veterans Memorial displaced everything when it was put in.

Holes 7-9 were the only redeeming part of this course. Nice drives through the trees with little brush to lose discs in.

This course has the potential to be a really nice ace run course and great for beginners and little kids. Since I live very close to it, I would frequent this course often when I'm short on time, but it has some deal breakers for me.
The tee pads are sunk in landscape timbers that at one time were filled with gravel. Now they are just big pot holes. You won't be using them at all.
In 2016 the park put up a statue/memorial and the baskets for 3, 4, and 5 were relocated. Here we are heading into the fall of 2017 and there is no clear idea of how holes 4 and 5 are to be played. My best guess is they are using the same tee for both holes. So you have to throw down hill to 4 and then walk back up the hill and then play 5 back down the hill.
The biggest problem with this course is that the fairways are mowed but are rather narrow. Outside the fairways is a jungle of every plant known to man that will turn your legs into hamburger. If you bring a little kid to this course or you accidentally turn a disc over too much, you better have some good hunting pants or a machete to try and find your disc. I really don't get why the park doesn't just mow the entire hill and plant a lot of trees. It would make the course so much better and improve the park itself overall.

I enjoyed this course, but it wasn't anything special. The tall grass makes it easy to lose discs in the rough. Large fields of rough make it almost impossible to locate when your throwing up or downhill. Play safe, stay on fairways, and you can play a pretty good round. Lengths aren't too bad, and the tees are in pretty good shape. I like it and would play it again. Easier for a lefty than a righty.

Excellent course map, score cards, and pencils provided @ 1st tee. Just needs concrete tees(currently crushed lime stone), & 9 more holes which it looks like they have the land.

Not a terrible course. Its nice to see any new course go in. It has some nicely mowed fairways but if you stray just a bit you can land in some pretty thick brush. Its tough to walk through and find discs. The course is an easy one. No real challenge holes but it does have a few cool looks. I like the uphill shot on hole one. They are all pretty much ace runs. I would recomend giving it a try if you feel like a change of pace. Needs a few finishing touches (tees and signs) but all in all a fun little course.

The last few holes are wooded and the only redeeming part of the course. Don't take a special trip. I recently played this again and some improvements have been made, I enjoyed it a lot more this last time through. I would go if not too far.

A pretty solid 9 hole, especially for beginners. Looks like it may become too grown up over summer tho... fun to practice your skills on. Hole 9 is my personal favorite, threading it through the woods ... show more ›

Hole 9 is my personal favorite, threading it through the woods overlooking a small pond (sounds like 8 also). Also sponsored by the Quonset Hut, my favorite disk golf shop and other things also (check it out if your in the area). overall a fun short course to practice and mess around on.

This course right now the way it sits with the grass mowed and the foliage not in full bloom i would say that this is one of my favorite 9 hole courses does not beat louisville's technical aspect but is just wonderful use of the land. Great course to work on your short game it has several options up hill, down hill, blind, open, woods, dog leg etc all that you could want great tee signs close to where i live i would have to say that this is one of the better designs by the local designers its a pleasure that some one would donate a course like this for all to enjoy i will be playing it a lot in the winter come summer not so much but i would say this a great fall winter course. Thank you

The layout is pretty easy, but may need some direction to hole 9 from hole 8. Which I'm sure since its a new course alot of these things will be addressed. ESPECIALLY THE ROUGH ! OMG, DO NOT THROW IN THE ROUGH, YOUR LEGS WILL GET TORE UP !!!!!

Good course for a beginner, but for an advanced or open player, you will be bored. Liked hole 5 thru 9, slightly technical, but definitely don't see any bogeys on the course anywhere for an advanced or open player. Still will be a fun little course for the beginning player or someone wanting to work on their short game or increase their aces. Hit chains on hole 8, alot of ace runs through the round, 2, 4, 7, and 9 were all very close to hitting metal. The rough along the fairways, is definitely rough, Mikey lost a Star Roadrunner on hole 3, and wasn't very far off the fairway, but could only stay in the rough for so long before your legs are burning and itching LOL . Look forward to future improvements, and possible alternate tees or pin positions, and maybe even and expansion..... if possible.

It's a new course and in it's current condition it is an F. I was informed improvements such as tee pads, signage and wider fairways have been planned for so my review will be updated accordingly if the course is improved upon. As of June play is nearly impossible and contains no fun value. Similar to Boettler with 20'-30' mowed fairways surrounded by waist high brush. No tees, some holes have orange flags in the ground, no signage or map. Requires a lot of maintenance to make it playable. The layout is promising and there are a few holes that could be amazingly fun to throw. ////////// Update: Played a winter round in early January. With the brush and rough all mowed down and dormant I was able to enjoy a round. Tee signs are in place which is very nice. Tee pads are lumber framed infilled with fine stone, and are a bit tricky for footing. I would have stuck with natural ground if concrete was never considered. Evolving into a quaint little pitch and putt course. Still don't plan on playing during the warm seasons when the brush will be back in full force.
