Sometimes on same leg, can cause confusion about which basket to throw at. Some minor elevation change. Has warning that course is not for beginners. True that.

All 3 courses at Lindsey park are well maintained. The recently added Dogwood Course is one of the most difficult courses in the state of Texas and quite possibly the United States. The only reason it doesn't get an A+ is because the signage needs to be updated, but that's pretty nit picky. It is an amazingly designed course that will test even the most talented professionals. There's plenty of shade, benches, and trash cans. It's a very wooded course that will force you to commit to the perfect line. And commit you must, because if you miss it, the punishment can be anywhere from bad, to severe, to brutal, to death row. The fairways feature dogleg lefts and rights, and straight shots, there's low ceilings and high ceilings, and some are epic-ly long. You will need a wide variety of shots, and discs, and you will have to be very accurate and recover well in order to shoot in the low to mid 60's, If you want to shoot in the 50's, you had better be on fire off every tee, and better make every putt inside 60'. It can be very frustrating at times, but it will make you a much better golfer in a hurry. Anyone that enjoys a challenge owes it to themselves a drive to Tyler to take on the Dogwood. The long pins play a relentless par 64 and the short pins play a brutal par 58. GOOD LUCK!!!
