Being able to play and enjoy such a great course is wondaful. The layout will test your shot selection. It is a course that makes you feel you can shot a very low score, but if you miss a line will pay for it in a honest way. There are a lot of great courses in TN but this is a must play course, has to be my favorite course so far. so thank full for allowing us to enjoy the course.

Hands down, Bud Hill has the best two courses in the Memphis area. The newer fun short course... the Ridge and the original Bud Hill described as follows. Bud Hill original course: Excellent variety of open, semi-tight, wooded, uphill, downhill, across-the-valley, water, and long holes. Well maintained with great scenery. Two (+1 if one throws a RH hyzer) over pond holes. Challenging but fun triple mando on hole 10. Three elevated tier levels on hole 6's basket. Benches (some with shelter), trash cans, T-signs and in some cases up to 3 choices of T-pads for different levels of difficulty. Nice clubhouse for awards ceremonies, player's meetings, and grilling out. Beautiful view of the Loosahatchie River in the background from hole 2's T pad. Owners Danny and Barbara Daniels are good people... very welcoming and friendly.

Budhill is a magical kind of DGC. You can't say enough good things about the owners Danny and Barbara. Very Special People. The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. there is some new construction on "snake hole" they are adding a 3 level tier. Good if you land on the tier bad, if you face it...down the hill into the pond it will go.
The Tag holders of this course are very proud of the course and commit a lot of time and $ to its maintenance. I cant say enough. Here are a few tips when approaching Budhill. first its a private course, Call ahead or Facebook Budhill. NO dogs. Drive slow up to the course and on the driveway up the hill.

I've played a lot of top courses in the nation, and I think Bud HIll is up there with all the greats...including all of High bridge and Flip City....In my opinion once you get to the upper tiers of courses such as Bud Hill it is very hard to distinguish between the other great courses...each hold something unique, such as the amazing views of the mississippi off of hole two (my personal favorite hole at Bud Hill) A plus easily for Bud Hill
