After 2022's course redesign this is now Washington St premier course once again. If fulfils any players skill level now with the 3 layouts. The course is always has great maintained fairways and a stellar volunteer base in the area. If you have not played Shelton Springs I suggest you put it on your to do list.

I really like that there are 2 or 3 tee pads for every hole. As a senior player who drives <300", I appreciated the shorter "Red" tee pads. Navigation was fairly easy and each pad had a color coded ... show more ›

I really like that there are 2 or 3 tee pads for every hole. As a senior player who drives <300", I appreciated the shorter "Red" tee pads. Navigation was fairly easy and each pad had a color coded sign on the nearest tree. The woods are thick enough to provide a good accuracy challenge, but not so thick that it makes shots pure luck. I also liked that there are seven "Par 4's" because I think too many courses are "Par 3" heavy.

This course challenges many different shots in any player’s game. Two different sets of tee pads offer different lengths and shapes of holes to play with tight lines and not much OB overall. Course is difficult enough to challenge great players, but not too difficult for beginners. There isn’t much elevation change on the property, but that is the only thing Shelton Springs is missing. One should check this course out if they haven’t already!

This course is pristine! Everything about this course is perfect! Amazing navigation, awesome tee pads and signage, great baskets, and beautiful scenery. Every hole has a metal rope on he ground attached to the basket so you know where the 30 foot mark is. All of the long holes have blue, white and red posts to measure how far out you are from he basket, just like a real ball golf course! I don't give out an A+ so just any course, but this course was well worth the drive.

sick course....dense forest setting in a huge park, brand new baskets, tee pads on the way. Very challenging with par 4's and 5's (red and black tees on all 18)....bit of a drive but well worth it! rollers and skip shots are out and it will test your skill level for sure..last basket is on top of a 4ft pyramid- pretty cool. flows pretty good once you get to hole 1, after that there are directional signs to next hole. definitely recommended! i believe red tees play par as 63???
