Favorite course in northern CA (so far). Played Lagoon (Vacaville), DeLaveaga (Santa Cruz) and Skyline while on vacation. While we enjoyed them all, my son and I both thought Skyline was definitely the most interesting. Great elevation changes, challenging hole placements, and a great mixture of tight holes and let-em-rip tee shots. Signage was very good on most holes (critical for out of towners). Some great views of Napa Valley, lots of up and down!

Beautiful and technical course set in a wilderness park. This course makes great use of the hilly terrain and abundant trees. Has some of the best concrete tees i've ever seen and discatcher pro baskets. Great variety and shot shaping depending on the pin locations. Hole 4 long may be the toughest par 3 in california.

Only played the 9 hole course so gave 3s for holes 10-18 Got to course at 6, after I paid 5$ the lady told me I couldn't play the full 18 cause I had to be out by 7. Guess you can still get out so ... show more ›

Got to course at 6, after I paid 5$ the lady told me I couldn't play the full 18 cause I had to be out by 7. Guess you can still get out so I shoulda tried to play all 18 but I decided to just play the 9... boring course, baskets just thrown in a field with some fairways mowed... everything about 300'

Had heard decent reviews about this course. Heard that it has some nice holes, but some treacherous hills. The hike in is ok. Don't be so lazy people, give me a break. Heard from disc golf buddies that if your disc decides to roll down hill you will be chasing it for a couple holes back down the mountain. This happened to us. It is no joke. If you are lucky enough to have your disc not roll down the mountain then you can really have a good round. I liked the oak trees and views from the course. Some technical holes through the trees. Played once, doubt i'll go back any time soon in that I live in Switzerland and when I visit home I play Golden Gate Park and Novato. Napa (and the previous mentioned are worth visiting). Tee pads in Napa are nice. Baskets are nice, though some were hard to locate and in interesting locations. Signage is ok. The poison oak is similar to most courses in the area…prevalent! Was nice to see Turkey, Deer and other wildlife. If wet, and after rain, be prepared to slip. The terrain is very slippery when muddy.

The good advice that I ignored was to wear hiking boots. You need good traction on this course! Beautiful views from the course, especially of the wall of trees opposite the course. This course was created with love - tee boxes hacked out of the mountain that are nice and flat, good signage, good system of indicating which basket placement is current. We saw a lot of lizards up there and even one turkey. This course is really for more advanced players but it was still very fun. The most frustrating part of the course is the tendency for discs to roll down the hill if they don't land exactly perfect on the ground. I would like to know how the "pros" handle that problem ...

I am biased because it is my second home course and I am the TD for the Vintage Cup. The course plays best in the spring when the grass is green and the ground softer, so roll-a-ways are minimized. ... show more ›

The course plays best in the spring when the grass is green and the ground softer, so roll-a-ways are minimized. Turkey, Deer and fantastic views. Upscale concrete tee pads on all holes. A bit of a walk in, and not beginner friendly, but fair fairways. Look for hole position on the Dial. No water on the course, but you can drop a cooler at the clubhouse area above tee one

This course is great, minus a few points for the bit of trouble finding our way around the course. Accidently played to the wrong basket on a hole. Challenging course that tests most parts of the game. With the terrain I feel there is a missed opportunity on a big downhill bomber marquis hole. The scenery is unreal, it may be due to being from the midwest or helped by the kind grass of ca, but i spent 3/4 of my round staring off in to the mountains. Physically strenuous, better enjoyed by intermediate to experienced golfer.
