Was in town from Kansas visiting family in Kentucky. I thought the course was well marked and the tee pads were excellent! The flow makes good use of the available space although if it were crowded I could see potential for headaches. The rec center workers were friendly and offered up the advice to go play Oak Grove as it is prefered by locals. It was mostly a flat and open park with smaller drainage and creeks running throughout. I give the course a B- due to it being a fairly easy play. Holes 4 and 5 were lots of fun and 6 kind of grew on me by my third time through.
1) OB behind basket demands accurate drive , relatively short
2) shorter but similar to hole one.
3) wide open and short. a little too easy.
4) My favorite hole on the course. Largre trees frame the tee pad and the wooded area to the right forces you to anhyzer or flick. Longest on the course.
5) Another enjoyable hole as a pond sits between the tee pad and basket, which is well hidden up the hill and to the right. An accurate flick is the only shot at birdie for a righty, After my first time through I decided that laying up at the opening of the trees was the best strategy.
6) This one is deceiving! The stream snuggles up to the right side of the hole and is about 6 feet from the basket. It is short but not a guaranteed duece!
7)More like what I am used to in Kansas. Long and more open but existing trees do come into play. THis was the only time I got my Boss out of the bag.
8) Trees directly in front of the tee pad but far enough back to not really effect your throw much.
9) wide open with little to get in your way.
