Kudos to those responsible for offering a fine alternative to "The Beast." This course is much better for folks like me that can only throw 200'. Nice mix of woods and open holes. Requires a fair degree of accuracy, especially due to the out of bounds (OB) rules on the more open holes. That is, on some wide-open holes you still have to place shots to avoid taller grass OB within divided fairways. The OB is grass, though, so you can still find your disc (and ignore the OB if you're not keeping score). Staff do an excellent job maintaining the course. Great score cards and excellent tee signs. Nice campground with electric and hot showers.

A beautiful Parkland course with a nice mix of tight wooded holes, open parkland holes, as well as, holes by the windy shore. It was a great test of shaping your shots, finesse control shots, and with some holes a power game. Three sets of tees, nice hole signs and cement tees. Really enjoyable to play this course.

Very fun course and probably one of the nicest I have ever been to. Good mix of wide open big drive holes and technical shots. You will need every disc and every shot in our bag for this course. No ... show more ›

Very fun course and probably one of the nicest I have ever been to. Good mix of wide open big drive holes and technical shots. You will need every disc and every shot in our bag for this course. Not much chance of losing a disc unless your throw it into the rough where there are rose prickers galore. Lots of OB which was clearly marked for the tournament, but would otherwise be difficult to observe.

Properly named "The Beast," even playing from the white tees this is a crazy long course. If like me you can't consistently throw at least 250', plan on averaging double bogey, especially on the front nine. Park staff do a superb job of maintaining the course. Outstanding score cards (in brown metal box at hole 1) and excellent tee signs. One welcome addition would be directional signage to the next tees, but the scorecards offset that. Very difficult, mostly because of length, but hole 9 in the woods seemed to me to offer no good path through the trees. Lots of thorns off the fairways on many holes. Not a course for beginners. Nice campground with electric and hot showers.

This is a beast. Not only do you need to throw far on most holes but accurate as well.
Most days will be windy when you play the holes near the shore. So these holes, although they are shorter, play like beasts. A fair test of your ability to shape your throws. I found it to be very fun to play since it challenged my abilities. Three sets of tees. Nice cement tee pads and hole signs.

Good chance of losing a disc on this course if you throw it into the rough where there are rose prickers galore or on hole 13. Lots of OB which was clearly marked for the tournament, but would otherwise be difficult to observe.
