Pros: Tee pads are fine, free course to play
Cons: Since it's free, can't complain about anything, but if it were to be pay-to-play in its current condition, then it would need better navigation for one. A lot of really steep uphill holes, not for the weak. Course not kept up it seems either; debris everywhere.

Just moved to Worcester and I am getting used to playing with a lot of elevation. This is NOT one of the more extreme courses I've played but is still a great test! Narrow difficult holes and easy holes mixed in. Overall I am a big fan and am glad this course is so close to me, I cannot always make it over to Maple Hill or Pyramids in rush hour traffic....

This course plays harder than it first appears

Pros
- It's free
- The holes are fairly open (not too many trees to avoid), but plays very narrow.
- The baskets are surrounded by mulch which is real nice. Allows you to lay up a nice mid-range approach shot without worrying too much about the disc skidding or rolling off
- The course is clean and seems well maintained.
- The course doesn't seem like it gets very crowded and it's real close to Worcester.
- Great views from a few holes near the top of the hill.
- Obvious statement, but this course if very hilly. It’s a really great way to get some exercise while playing, but could definitely get a bit exhausting if you play more than one round.
Cons
- Course plays narrow, so if you don't have a very straight throw, it makes it difficult to really huck your disc without potentially playing your next shot off into the trees.
- A lot of fairly steep uphill holes. It can make a par 3 or 4 seem very long. Rolling discs are an issue. On a few occasions our discs actually rolled back past the tee boxes.
- Some of the baskets which do not have mulch are on steep inclines/declines. This makes an approach shot very difficult. Numerous discs would land a few feet short and would end up rolling as far as 50 feet down the side of the course.
-The course is very hilly, which I mentioned before, but definitely needs a few steps here and there on some of the steeper downhill courses. Since the holes are mostly dirt and pine needles, the ground can seem pretty slippery.

Don't let the cons of the course intimidate you at all. I figured they were worth mentioning, especially if you have any mobility issues. It’s definitely a course worth trying.

While I have personal reasons for not liking this course so much, Newton hill is a pretty good challenge and quite well maintained. As the name indicates, this course is on a hill, and you'll be going up and down quite a bit of elevation change. I find that you'll want some decent sneakers or hiking shoes as some portions of the hill are loose dirt/gravel that you can lose your footing on fairly easily. Putting is a challenge on some holes as the basket is on a steep portion of the hill.
