The Mounds at Groves Park is definitely a hidden gem in Tennessee. This course definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves. This could absolutely be a championship level course, and I feel that one day, it will be. There are multiple tees on every hole for all types of skill levels. This is one of those courses where you can go play the shortest layout and have ace runs on nearly every hole, and then you can loop it again and play the longest layout which is an absolute beast and a challenge for any skill level. Beautiful rolling hills, high mounds, water in play on several holes and a great mix of everything you need in a course. From short wooded putter holes to long open bomber holes. This would be an outstanding course to get a hotel near and just play multiple layouts in a two day stretch without ever getting tired of the course. And if the 18 hole layout isn't enough for you, move on to the heavily wooded 9 hole sister course in the same park called The Woods. This course is an absolute must play if you are anywhere near East Tennessee. And if you are the type to drive for DG road trips, this is one you are going to want to stop by! Everytime I am in knoxville area for work this course is a must. While there are many nice courses here, there is something surreal here we with a nice view, only disc golfers and its been well kept recently. How this course isnt the main tournament course I have no idea.

Does need a map though if you haven't been there. Someone once told me there is one just needs to go up.

This course is beautiful and is perfect for all skill levels. Easily one of the best in the state. Stone teepads (white) have been added for each hole which makes this course that much better. The maintenance recently has been over the top making this one of the best courses in the area. Next steps involve finishing 2 more teepads for each hole for a total of 3. The community has done a great job voicing their opinion to the city of oak ridge to ensure that this course is well maintained in the future.

Epic environment as you play on a lush natural setting (old ball golf course), and are surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. Played the blue tees which proved exceptional in length and technical shot selection. The layout is fantastic and takes advantage of the existing natural features. Highly recommended if ever near Oak Ridge.
