Fun but frustrating.

This course is a good time but not very forgiving. It is almost entirely in the woods and located on the top of a hill. It has some long holes and large turns. If you go very far on either side of the fairway you are sure to end up down a valley or in a briar bush. Its definitely not a walk in the woods and even experienced players will struggle on occasions.

Overall the course provides good challenge but I give it a C because the overall condition is lacking attention. Some of the tees are mislabeled and hard to follow to the right cages. There is also trash on many of the holes that should be cleaned more often.

It took me a while to find the park because the sign was not visible from the direction I was driving. The course looks like it used to be a great one, but it has not been maintained very well. There was also no map which made a tough for a first time player to know where they were going. I searched for hole 3 for about 20 minutes before I found it. I never did find hole 6, so I just skipped it and played from 7. Some of the signs showing the basket location and par have been knocked over and are gone. This is especially annoying on the wooded holes where you cannot see the basket from the tee. I ended up leaving at hole 12.

I love to play this course! Word to the wise...holes 9 & 12 send some one ahead to be a spotter...I have lost 2 discs on hole 12....the woods ate them!! maintained fairly well with port-a-johns at the start and end. Note...There is a little walk from the end of the course back to the beginning. A lot of fun. Hole #8 is my favorite. Worth the drive!!
