Played both yesterday. Im just a novice but there’s some beautiful pine forest areas and the elevation was a nice challenge. Well kept up we enjoyed it very much.
The original course on the property and it is still fantastic. Where Wildwood has a defined wooded front 9 and open back 9, Deerfield changes it up on you on every tee, Having a big downhill bomber ho ...

This course is great, not sure I can say it's with the tops in the state since I have played so few courses but with 2 courses on the property it rivals some of my favorites like Fallasburg Park in Lo ...

Very nice variety of holes. Wooded, narrow, slightly open, and some wide open holes with elevation changes give a variety to enjoy.
Amazing layout with some real beauties in and out of the trees. My technical skills have improved immensely since I began playing Deerfield (and Wildwood) regularly. These are special courses with pic ...

I had a lot of fun on this course. It was first thing in the morning, so it was quiet and gorgeous. I even saw a family of deer on one of the holes. This course was a bit (not much) less technical ...

Both are very well kept as well as offering poles opposite looks between the two courses. One of the best courses in Michigan when looking at a complete 36.
I am very lucky to call these courses my home courses. They offer a variety of different shots, with lots of elevation change. Both courses have a few bomber holes, tight fairways, anyhyzer and hyzer ...

I love this course! Being a native of Mt. Pleasant does make me biased, and since my alternative is the CMU course, this looks even better by comparison. Based in a county park, this course is very we ...

Nice mix of long, open holes that favor big arms and attackable holes off the tee that demand accuracy. Fair but challenging to shoot par due to consequences of gunning for big drives through tight trees. Early contact with shrubbery will add some strokes!!
Deerfield is the most balanced course that I have played. You need to bring every aspect of your game if you want to shoot well here. The course allows both forehand and backhand shots on every hole. ...

Nice variety of holes, good for beginner and experienced alike. Nice concrete tees. good use of terrain in a part of the state that has no terrain.
Extremely technical but never unforgiving. The front 9 are heavily wooded, forcing certain shot shapes to really test your game and disc selection, bust out your midranges. The back 9 really opens up ...
