PROS: Holes are varied. They range from heavily wooded areas to open air, with decent elevation changes being the more technical shots. It's well-maintained in a beautiful park. The grass is trimmed and the woods are clean.
CONS: No distance shots - most were between 40 and 80 meters. They also didn't have the last 9 holes (of 27 total) set up. The tee-boxes were there, but the baskets and signs were taken down. My guess is because it's summer time with a lot of people in the open field that could get hurt by flying discs.
Overall, Hitachi Seaside Park offers a very nice course. The park itself would be a good place to take the family, while you spend quality time on the golf course :-)
