A short, wooded and moderately technical state park course with multiple narrow lines and relatively tight fairways. The shaping of shots around first available trees is a must to stay out of the dense, thorny rough. This course is obviously easier in the non summer months. A clean and somewhat challenging course with long cement pads, good signage, a few benches and decent variety. No water hazards.

Long tee pads (Becareful of the holes in them), plays fast, challenging shot shapes, the rough is ultra bad with all of the thorns (They hurt alot...). Super tight fairways, with plenty of trees in the middle of them. Little elevation change, the course itself is pretty self explanatory when playing through. Took 3 players about 2 hours to play a single round. Also, the address is wrong on discgolfscene. It's by the Waterloo Rec Campgrounds, and it is right by the boat launches.

My boyfriend and I loved this course. Course was well maintained, not many mosquitoes, easy to follow, and everything was mapped out well. It was a good challenge, yet obtainable goals. I am a beginner and I did not get too frustrated. Was able to find my discs easily. The only thing I would change is the tee box maintenance. They just need to be updated. We will definitely go there again. I will also be recommending this course to others.

I love this course, but I am 1. A nature /tree lover, and 2. Tight wooded technical course fan.. I am in disbelief that this ranks lower than Ella Sharp. The latter was a huge disappointment, and this is a refreshing surprise. Very beautiful, and great for players who like a challenge, as opposed to open drives. Very happy I drove out here to check it out.

Only played here a few times but eager to find new ways to score. I expect that one might find both bad and great rounds in these woods and too me that’s what it’s all about. Craft your middy game. A great challenge.

I'm giving this course an A because it's my kind of course. Mostly mid-range (Buzzz) drives, this is a short highly wooded course. Not hard to get some really good scores, I think I had -4 playing for the first time and throwing more than a couple blind (even though they were only 220 - 260 ft shots. Pads were amazing, extra long, roughed up cement for traction, with the basket number painted on them. Great signage and free scorecards, but I did need a park sticker to get into the park. This was my third course of the day, so I was glad it wasn't too long.... beautiful area, lots of run and highly recommended.

Don't like the tee pads with the holes in them to trip over, and didn't notice the yellow fault line BEHIND THE HOLES on some of the pads until the later holes, which was after I already fell down once, twisting my ankle. Overall, though, I did like this course, and will play here again. Good signs, and decent flow. Need more trash cans, though.

I'm sorry if you are the designer or you love this course but it could be a lot better just by placing some of the pins a bit further out. I was bored on the front nine as most were righty hyzers. Pads are great. Great course for beginers but low difficulty.

Unfortunately, unless you love poison ivy, stay away until early spring or later fall. Course is loaded. It's gonna be a long night!
