this course in my opinion is far an away in better shape now than it was back in 2007 when the baskets were first placed. much of the heavy brush traps have been removed and the fairways are being mowed now so there not all grown up in weeds. someone did remove a few trees from the wooded area of the course that took some difficulty away but trust me there are still plenty of trees to hit.
all the holes are marked with signs but 1 and 6 and i am working on getting those replaced. the course does have regular sized concrete tee pads and highly visible 24 chain innova baskets clearly marked with the hole number. the smashed basket that one of the other reviewers talked about has long since been replaced with a brand new basket.

most of the holes on the course are shorter that require a finesse shot which should appeal to newer players and those players who don;t have the big arm throw. the course also offers 3 holes in the 300 to 400 range that give the opportunity to stretch out a little. this may not be the longest or most challenging course around but it certainly has some good things going for it. it takes about an hour for a small group to make 2 trips around the course. I have contacted the new school grounds keeper in hopes of making some more improvements to the course in the future.

I was the co-designer of this course when it originally went in. The course has changed dramatically for the worse over the past few years. The wooded areas that provided the difficulty have been cleared out to the point that there is really no challenge left. The only thing saving this from an 'F' are the 3 still decent holes on this course and the historical aspect of the natural sand dunes. Don't make a special trip to play this course but if you are in the area, it may be worth stopping for a really quick round.
