Very wet coming out of winter. Slightly confusing layout with some crossing fairways make it hard to navigate and for less skilled thrower or even on a windy day, I could see a few issues saying on your own hole. Overall, not a lot of challenge, underwhelming par holes, and only 2 dimensional terrain.

Not a bad course at all, just a little pedestrian after playing courses like Ewing, Walnut, Pickard and Grandview. However, Heritage plays much quicker than the previously mentioned courses which makes it ideal for a quick round when you don't have much time or daylight and you're Jonesing for a game.

This is a great course because it is the only one I have played that has the elements of both a wooded closed course and an open course at the same time. The first four holes are relatively open then 5-10 are across a bridge and are in a more woodsy, less open space where the holes are up and down hills. Then the remaining holes are in a large open space. This format allows frolfers of all experience to play this course. If you are a beginner (or don't want to get wet) you skip the bridge and only play on the open part of the course whereas if you are more experienced you slosh through the water flowing over the bridge and play the more difficult part of the course. This to me is the definition of the perfect course, one that anybody can play.
