Been playing this course for nearly 25 years and it's still great! Lots of trees are starting to die or are dead and the course is in Desperate need of Multiple Pin location rotations. There are only a handful of holes that get rotated regularly and I would love to see more pin placements added. This will help keep some other trees alive and give the foliage a chance to grow back. The course is VERY well kept and is gorgeous and trash free all year round.

[TLDR: Great course that changes pretty often 18-27holes depending. $5/day Fee] For the whole course, gorge holes included, the walk is just short of 4 miles. Lots of variety in hole design, good concrete tee pads and standard chain baskets. It is a must play course in Minnesota. Winter makes the gorge holes very sketchy so they take them out when the snow flies (I think). Woods can be a bit dense at times and is full of invasive plants (most are). There is some variety in the size and shape of tee pads. The course design in excellent, pretty technical through the woods in most spots, but there is room for some bombs on a few holes. Kaposia has a tiny pro shop that is usually open and an active community of leagues that play year round (Chili Dogs!). If you haven't played here put it on your list.

Great course, with tremendous variety in terms of length and hole design. No two holes look alike. Much of the course is rather wooded, but there is generally a good 15-20 foot wide path to the hole, so it seems fair (though still challenging). You can tell this has been a heavily played course for many years, as all the gaps between trees have well beaten paths. When most courses are ending at 18 holes, this one is just getting started, and those last 6 include many of most challenging and physically demanding on the course. My biggest concern is that the layout can be very confusing at times, and signage is not consistently present. I had two different maps and still got lost a couple of times. It is $5 per day to play (a season pass is reasonable), but worth it for the beauty and challenge.

Best course I've every played, and the best in the twin cities for sure. It is $5 pay to play, as of last spring, but worth it because you get the course to yourself. 27 holes. Lots of woodsy shots. Some favorites are over a creek, to a hole at a lowered elevation. Another is a 100ft elevation drop, with a blind hole off to the left, perfect for a right backhand. Make sure you play the final 9 if you go, those make the course what it is.
