The red Tees are shorter but still a challenge through trees and underbrush. This is an awesome course! The start has a couple easy open holes, then you go down into the woods, flying up and down grades, through narrow and wide spaces between old growth spruce and hemlock and Alder and don't come out till 13. Thirteen,my personal favorite, includes an ~80 ft diameter circle of stone wall and the smaller circles or peanuts, any of which the basket can be moved to. Drop zones for missed circles. Scores on this hole have been known to go double didget. 14 and 15 are mostly open with black and gold Tees near and over 400 ft. Then its back in the old growth for the last three, 18 being a steep down grade ace run to finish. This course can be very challenging but once you play a few times you figure out where not to throw it. It can be very windy at times but not to bad once you get in the woods. It's quite the hike the easier red course is over 3500 ft. All par 3s so is black and it's over 5100 feet and its a real challenge. Not to mention the new Gold tee boxes essentially making this course 36 holes. I would give this course a five outta five and a must to come play if you like a fun course and its in beautiful Juneau Alaska you can't go wrong!
