Great course that offers a good variety of technical shots as well as a few "wide open" shots. Eagles are obtainable through the front 10 but the back 10 posses more of a challenge. Minimal traffic.

CONS
Very easy to lose a disc due to the abundance of trees and bushes. I have not lost one yet but i have spent 10 minutes searching for 1 or 2. There are signs but it can still be confusing the first time playing.

I played this course recently (summer of 2012) for the first time in a number of years (8 or 9, probably). It has improved a lot, probably because a club has been formed to take care of it. There is excellent signage now, and nice concrete tee pads (they were just dirt pits the last time I played). Each hole has two pads, so you can play the course twice without repeating the same tee shot. I only played nine this time, so I can't comment on the extent of differences between the tees.

I think the layout has been improved, too, especially a couple of holes that were really hard to play before, because they required blind shots into thick vegetation. Now you can see where you're going, for the most part. Overall, I think the layout's pretty good. It's challenging but not overwhelming: there are some very tight holes and some longer, more open ones. Visually, most are not that interesting or memorable. Trees and slight elevation changes (20-25', maybe) are its distinguishing features. It's worth trying if you're in the area, but if you're traveling, I would recommend a course like Kaposia or Bryant Lake before this one.

Probably my biggest concern is that they seem to have serious vandalism problems. Back when I played it before, there was always a basket missing on least one of the holes. This time, all the baskets were accounted for, but two of them had no chains whatsoever. The grass gets very high in places, so it can be easy to lose discs if you aren't careful.

Update: I played nine holes here in the summer of 2013, and all the baskets were present and intact. So I hope the vandalism problem is a thing of the past.

heavily wooded course, very unique uses of elevation change and pin placement to make this small short course very challenging. Only one hole on the course I would call a difficult two, that being the 10th or 20th hole respectively, but a bad drive will often penalize leaving a tough par save or even a bogey. Average hole length is around 250ft. Fairways are clean and groomed, a little more length and this course could be and "A", maybe a pro loop smewhere out there? 5 birdies and 5 bogeys my first round.

Great course to play. They have multiple tee boxes as an attempt to make it a 20 hole course, but most of the 11-20 hole tee boxes play the same as the 1-10 tees. The course has plenty decently challenging holes and a few really short ones. You're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy playing here as it is very easy to navigate and plays really well.

the home course. it has come a long ways. itz got elevation changes. wooded and open holes. i like the way it plays. hole 1 short tee pad, then hole 2 long tee pad, then hole 3 short and so on. ALOT of different lines on the majority of the course. In my opinion, the BEST short course in the state.
