This course is the closest to where I live, but it allows me to experiment with multiple shots. Wide open course that has 4 holes ~ 300 feet. 1 at ~ 500 and the other four allow you to practice approach shots ranging from 100-250 feet. Really makes you take into consideration the wind speed and direction on even moderately windy days. Do yourself a favor and treat every hole as a par 3 and don't go by the "recommended" par scores because they are all out of whack.

Teaches you to throw uphill, downhill, short shots, tweener shots, headwind, tailwind, OB, etc. Each hole is different and although the course is pretty wide open, the wind, OB and distance are the obstacles. Some of the toughest holes are wide open holes that have multiple paths to the basket. I think this is an excellent course to prep for big tournaments and gain confidence with your shots. Your skills are revealed on this course more so than they are developed. Holes range from 110 feet (should be a gimme, but Jay Reading, best putter ever, got a 4 on it during a tournament) to 510 feet.
