D+ Dean Hass Apr 2024 Unless something has changed, this course was borderline unplayable during my summer trip 2023.
B+ Shane T. Wilcox Oct 2022 This course has potential to be one of the best. Great mix of everything. Needs T pads, trail markers.
C Shane skiera Aug 2021 If the course had the right care! It would be way more playable! Still not marked well and some holes “pars” seem Impossible! All in all with better management and better trail markers the challenge would draw people in! My buddy lost two discs tho…
C- Corey Rondeau Aug 2021 Horrible marking for paths. If you use the udisc app on your phone it shows how to get to each hole and where the hole goes. Otherwise you might get lost. But some good holes.
A+ Andrew “Trout” Rusinek Oct 2019 Great elevation change. When everything is marked makes it one of the best in the state.
B Jonathan Robinson Aug 2018 Forest Lots of thick woods if you get off the path. Challenging.

Awesome course.terrible poopity pads, very questionable signage at times. hard to navigate, especially after I think hole 15 the walk is like two thousand feet pretty baller... Just keeeep walking ... show more ›
A+ Steve 'Fanzi' Zaborowski Jun 2017 This course is sublime! Awesome views and great scenic holes. This course is just across the bridge, if you're headed to the UP, stop to play this course!!! Also, watch your discs well, a misplaced shot might be gone forever.
A- Josh "Grinder" Gasco Apr 2017 A fun course in the U.P. Make sure you have a good hiking shoes there is some steep hills to walk up and down. Nice course tho. Some tight shots and some big bombs to throw also. Go play you won't be disappointed.
B Erin Feeley Oct 2016 Loved the course. A bit unkempt and didn't know where I was teeing off when I got to the open on the front nine. Lost a big stamp nuke on hole eight on that hill of lost things. Will reward for sure.
B+ Clayton Woirol Aug 2016 Fun course, loved the elevation changes! Hard to find a couple of the tee areas, but overall, very well maintained. Definitely will play again!
B- Phil Britton Sep 2018
Updated my review again. Bumped it up a notch. Course is getting some love. The layout is fun, fairly easy to navigate, and it's a beautiful location. Courses built on ski hills are usually boring ... show more ›
A- Mary R Sep 2015 This course was awesome. Each hole requires a different skill set. Good uphill and downhill holes. 600+ feet on hole 9, was an awesome drop down the ski slope. Definitely worth stopping at if you are in the area. Could use some cement tee pads. Great views as well.

POISON IVY! Since no one has stated it before, I'll repeat. POISON IVY. There is a sign warning you of this at the beginning and another after the basket on Hole 15. With that said, amazing view f ... show more ›

I love this course. I first played it in 2006 or 7 it was only 18 holes. I like it better now, they changed a couple holes. The tee pads do need a little work, like filling in the holes. The hol ... show more ›

This course features some of the best signage directing players between holes that I've ever seen. It is well-maintained and the holes are very well laid out. Accuracy is rewarded and mistakes are p ... show more ›
A Jeremy Moran Jan 2014 My favorite course! Up and down a ski hill 3 times if you play all 24 holes. Mix of elevations spread throughout wide open bombers and technical corridors on an easily navigable layout. Tee-pads are natural and can be rutted. Gotta make time to play this course if you're anywhere near the Bridge!
C Nick Rockey Aug 2013
Ok I guess, most holes were narrow long tunnels, high risk of disc loss everywhere with deep rough, risk-v-reward just wasn't there. Seems like they missed the boat on taking advantage of the terrain. ... show more ›
A- DETROIT Duchon Jul 2013 Played in late July and it was beautiful ! Ski slope in the winter , I really enjoyed this course , great use of shorter distance holes . Some mosquitos but , dont let that stop you from playing this one.

This is a hidden gem in "Da U.P." Absolutely love this course, a tru testament of Northern Michigan Disc Golf. Very rarely is it crowded. Good mix of tight shots & bombers, only con I can give this p ... show more ›
A- Matt Elgersma - iDisc for VEDS Jun 2013 great course, only improvement would be better pads and making a better path for hole 5/6

PROS: Course is mapped out very well, score cards are provided at the beginning. Very clean fairways and baskets are in great shape. Holes 7 and 8 call for a pretty much straight vertical drive and a ... show more ›
B Angel Gilbert Aug 2012 played in 2005 it was only 18 holes then
C Glen Zimmerman Jul 2012 Decent hole layout and maintenance. Tight lanes that reward accuracy. Good mix of long and shorter holes. Almost complete hole signs and direction signs which are really well made. Definitely needs pads; which I suggest cement. Needs a road sign after the turn on cheeseman on the left side.
B+ Alex Villanueva Jul 2012 Directions suck trying to get to it when your not a local
B+ Robert Wagner May 2012 Scenery outstanding course was a riot, details to follow soon. This os a late entry from last year.
B- Cal Benke Nov 2010 A little too much up and down. Lots of room for more baskets. Needs cement tee pads.
