Brand new course -- went out today and played a round from the red (short) and a second round from the blue (long) and really enjoyed the day. I'm an intermediate player without a big arm, and it was challenging but scorable. Most of the holes on the shorts were between 225-275 if I'm remembering correctly.
From what I could tell, there's generally one obvious line off the tee box on each hole, and it definitely seems to favor a right-handed backhand thrower. (I ran into a lefty on the course and he was kind of annoyed and not having fun because of this.) Although, the blues seemed to offer a few more clear-cut forehand tee shots. Speaking of the teeboxes, Hole 14 is an interesting one because the longer tee box is actually the short (red) at par 4, and the closer tee box is actually the long (blue) at par 3. Everyone was getting confused by this!
For the most part, the course has a very low ceiling and if you get your disc up, it's just going to get caught up in branches. I suspect that'll be even more so in the spring/summer, when everything is fully leafed. There's one island hole that's pretty simple, and two or three slightly elevated baskets, not any OB to speak of, no serious hills to deal with. It's a little bit of a hike, according to UDisc I walked just about 4 miles total on each round, although it didn't feel like it. The roughs are full of thorny plants, so don't recommend wearing shorts!
I do hope that some kind of Lost & Found box or system can be figured out. Right now it seems like found discs are just left on the ground by hole 18.
