The course is looking good and continues to improve, but here are a few important notes for players to be aware of:
Cleanup Progress: The property had a long history of dumping, but after the school district’s major cleanup and our ongoing work, 99% of debris is off the fairways. You may still see the occasional piece of glass or wire off to the sides, so just keep an eye out if you’re in the rough.
Wildlife & Vegetation: There are wild rose bushes throughout the property, and ground bees are active. We’ve treated several nests but can’t guarantee we’ve found them all. Use caution in rough areas.
Terrain: The property has a lot of elevation changes, and pine needles can make footing slick in places. Nothing unusual for the area (similar to Sekani), but please use caution on hills and slopes.
Overall: The course plays clean and fair, and we’ve done our best to make it safe and enjoyable. Just be mindful of footing, keep an eye out for hazards, and enjoy the beautiful setting.
