This is a relatively flat course with no changes in elevation. A good mixture of short and long holes. Water comes into play on several holes with the irrigation channel, Rapid Creek and the swamp. There are also longer tee pads on some of the holes. There are many alternate basket positions to keep it fresh and entertaining. It's just an all around great course that will challenge you.

Makes great use of the available space and obstacles! Surprisingly flat for the Black Hills of South Dakota! Nice balance of fairly open distance shots and shorter skill shots. Water come into play ... show more ›

Makes great use of the available space and obstacles! Surprisingly flat for the Black Hills of South Dakota! Nice balance of fairly open distance shots and shorter skill shots. Water come into play on 11 out of 18 holes, depending on the basket placement. An enjoyable course for all levels of play! Also within an hour of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and lot's of Black Hills attractions! One of my favorites!

Fairly flat but with a variety of hole placements. Also a good variety of fairly tough water hazards that will get you if you're not concentrating. The front nine are fairly open so wind conditions can play a big part. Course maintenance was pretty good but not excellent. Nice big open lawns for playing catch, too!
