Private course that is extremely well kept. Regularly picks up every stick so it feels like walking in a beautiful park. Both courses feel different. Grey is more wooded, shorter, need birdies and can get them with good throws. Fox is more challenging, needs longer more difficult throws and some big putts to get those birdies. Best courses in NW MI. Great rolling hills property.

Acorn Hills is an outstanding dual layout course that features the advance Fox Squirrel course and the intermediate Grey Squirrel Course. The whole complex is meticulously maintained and has faiways that make you use all kinds of different shot shapes and couse management skills in oreder to score well. The courses also feature OB lines, Mandos, and water hazards if you chose to play in competion mode. All in all this is a must play if you near by and even worth making it a distination course.

Acorn Hills is a hidden gem! Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, this course has something for everyone. The layout is well thought out, with a great mix of open shots and technical wooded holes that keep things fun and challenging. The course is very well maintained—clean fairways, clearly marked tees, and great signage throughout and the natural beauty of the area adds to the experience.

Best course between flip and hickory, and my personal favorite. Tom and Elisha made a hidden gem here that is extremely well cared for. This course will make you better. First time playing requires a waiver that you only fill once for the year since it’s private property, and $5 a day to play. It’s worth the short drive if you’re in the Ludington area. Don’t think twice and give acorn hills a try, it will become your new favorite course! Check out the drone videos for course fly throughs too!

Great Course that somehow improves every year. Lots of shaped shots, ob , water hazards, and shot variety to challenge players of all ranges. If you are finding it too challenging attempt the course in fun mode. Owners are great people. The disc store, and television playing the latest major have been added this year and are great additions. The course is kept manicured year round. Leagues are held there to compete with some of the locals and the prize support is generous. If you are sick of the same old courses, this one is worth a drive.

Beautiful private pay to play course with a reverse layout of Grey Squirrel. Longer challenging wooded and farmland holes designed for advanced players. Shot shaping and placement are necessary for lower scores. The course is top notch with everything. Mandos, OB’s, water hazards and mild elevation. Burnt orange tee posts with course name and hole number/map. Next tee markers. Long concrete pads and DisCatcher (original) and Pro baskets. Benches and trash cans throughout the course. Parking lot entrance sign and a station to sign waivers and pay. Nice owners that communicate well. This course is available to play every other weekend (Grey Squirrel on alternate weekends). The courses are now open during weekdays for private groups of 3+. Must schedule tee times in advance. Destination course.
